ACD-A Anticoagulant Solution

Anticoagulant Citrate Dextrose Solution, Solution A, (ACD-A), is intended for use as an anticoagulant and preservative for human blood and in extracorporeal blood collection, apheresis and processing. It is supplied as a sterile and pyrogen-free solution prepared with Water for Injection, filtered, packaged in Viaflex Plastic Containers and sterilised by heating in an autoclave. It contains sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate and anhydrous glucose.
